SEASTAR SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE TO DOMETIC MARINE THE GLOBAL LEISURE MARINE COMPANY, SEASTAR SOLUTIONS® HAS RE-BRANDE ITSELF AS DOMETIC MARINE AND IS NOW INTEGRATED TO THE DOMETIC GROUP.
Dear SeaStar Solutions Customers of BLA,
As you know, SeaStar Solutions has a lot of heritage in its brand. Even though the SeaStar Solutions name is relatively new, SeaStar Steering has been around for over 35 years and harkens back to our many years as Teleflex Marine. Like SeaStar, our other brands such as, BayStar, Xtreme, Optimus among others links to that proud history of innovation and quality in marine steering and control.
Now, we are entering a new chapter in our history. Having been acquired by Dometic in 2017, it is time to let the world know that we have a new home and are part of a new family. Over the next several months, you will start to see some things changing with the brand.
You’ll now start to see the Dometic logo and brand name incorporated into our advertising, product literature, product packaging, on our website and in our boat show and boat show displays.
Dometic already owns a strong position in the marine market. Their slogan, Mobile Living Made Easy aptly describes their extensive product lines in climate control, hygiene and sanitation, mobile cooking, refrigeration and safety. While we now have become part of the Corporate Dometic brand you will still see the aforementioned powerful brands as sub brands or models. SeaStar, BayStar, Xtreme, Optimus, and a few others, branded as “By Dometic” will still provide the brand recognition in steering and control the market has relied on for over 30 years.
BLA has been a key partner for over 20 years with our product range and BLA remains our exclusive supplier of Dometic Marine Steering across ANZP.
BLA will continue to provide you with access to our Marine Steering and Sierra product range and support moving forward.
Thank you for the confidence you have shown towards our former corporate brand, “SeaStar Solutions” and our many market leading products and brands. Change is inevitable, but rest assured we will continue to provide change in the form of innovative products to retain your trust as we enter this new phase.
